If any of the following occurs, do not hesitate—end the relationship decisively:

  1. She treats her income as hers alone and yours as shared property, draining your resources without contributing.
  2. She does not see herself as a partner in the household, contributes nothing to its income, and focuses solely on extracting money or benefits from you.
  3. She unilaterally diverts family assets to support her parents, help her younger siblings, purchase insurance, or similar purposes.
  4. She demands that you hand over your salary.
  5. She contributes nothing toward major shared household assets, such as a home or car.
  6. She judges and criticizes you from a position of authority rather than treating you as an equal.
  7. She uses phrases such as “I want a bride price,” “I need financial security,” “I’m your unpaid nanny,” “I’m having children for you,” “I’m doing housework for you,” “I’m getting the short end of the stick,” or “You owe me.”
  8. She says things like “That’s what you’re supposed to do” or “You chose to do it.”
  9. She scrolls on her phone but cannot stand seeing you relax, assigning you chores as though she were your boss.
  10. She uses “Because I’m a woman” as a universal justification.
  11. She uses sex as leverage to pressure or punish you.
  12. She repeatedly exposes the household to risks without recognizing them.

If any of the above occurs, end the relationship immediately and decisively.
